We believe the Church is the gathered people of God — visible and invisible, universal — called to worship, grow in discipleship, and serve one another in love. The local church is not a place we attend but a people we become: a community shaped by humility, generosity, and the truth of the gospel.

Baptism and Communion

We believe in water baptism by full immersion for those who have placed their faith in Christ, as a public declaration of new life in Him. While grace is received through faith alone, baptism is an important act of obedience and a clear outward sign of an inward change, identifying the believer with Jesus and His people.

We believe Communion should be celebrated regularly, remembering Jesus’ death and resurrection as the heart of our faith and the foundation of our unity.

Both baptism and Communion are visible signs of the gospel — reminders of God’s grace and of our call to live lives marked by holiness, gratitude, and truth.

Mission

Every follower of Jesus is called to live on mission, carrying the good news into families, workplaces, and neighbourhoods through intentional love and practical service, so that Christ is made known wherever we go.

Unity in the body of Christ

While we hold these beliefs and distinctives as true and foundational, we also recognise that those who hold different convictions yet confess Jesus as Lord are our brothers and sisters in Christ. Together, we belong to the wider Church — people saved by grace and called to follow Jesus.

We seek to walk faithfully according to our convictions while extending grace, respect, and fellowship to all who belong to the body of Christ.
