Why Egalitarian?

To be egalitarian is to hold that men and women are created equally by God as image bearers and stewards, and are called together to share in His work. In Christ, they are restored and empowered to serve side by side, according to their gifting and calling.
Heaven: The Hope of a Recreated World
Some people assume the Christian hope is about leaving this world behind. Yet the great hope of the Christian story is not escape from the world but its renewal: a recreated world where God dwells with His people in resurrected bodies on a restored earth.
Hell: Life, Death and the Justice of God
Scripture presents God’s justice as perfect, His mercy as real, and His purpose as bringing evil to an end. The Bible speaks not of eternal torment but of a fire that consumes, where sin and death are finally destroyed.
